After we had breakfast, we were split into three groups: one was going to continue on the site from yesterday, another would collect rocks needed for the foundation of the observatory and the last one dig the ground where the observatory will be built.
The latter started by measuring the area and marking it after which the actual digging began. Even though it was a bit challenging, with a little bit of music our work became a lot more enjoyable. The team collecting the rocks did so from a forest nearby and they added up to a total mass of 6 tonnes! Afterwards, they joined the ones digging until lunch break.
We all had some free time after we ate which we spent moving to the cabins (we spent the first two nights in tents) and playing some games outside.
Then, we went back for another round of digging after which we had dinner.
When we finished, we gathered outside, where the American delegation presented their cultural moment. They began with sharing some interesting facts about the country, followed by performing a song representing the kind of music Americans like.
Afterwards, we spent the rest of the night playing card games and charades.
