Today, some of us woke up earlier in order to help place the rocks collected previously in the site where the observatory will be built. Then, we watched the cement being poured over the rocks so the foundation was now finished.
One group continued working on the site and helping around the campus while another one went into the forest to finish placing the sods on the playground terrain.
We had lunch after which we walked to a tourist attraction nearby, Dracula's Castle. After visiting it we headed back to the camp where we ate dinner.
Then, the Turkish delegation had their cultural moment where they started with telling us about the history of their country, about Istanbul, and about their favourite Turkish foods. They also taught us a traditional dance and they sang a popular Turkish song. Afterwards, they gave us Turkish delight in a variety of flavours - it was delicious!
We all went to bed early in order to be well rested for the hike on the following day.
